Dear friend of the ministry,

Good Friday

In a matter of hours, they had beaten Jesus, hurled insults at Him, mocked and spit at Him as he carried the cross through the streets of Jerusalem.

They put a crown of thorns on His head and cast lots for His clothing.

The Son of God humbled Himself to the point of death so that you and I could live for eternity.

Randy Alcorn writes, “What is good about Good Friday? Why isn’t it called Bad Friday? Because out of the appallingly bad came what was inexpressibly good. And the good trumps the bad, because though the bad was temporary, the good is eternal.”

As we reflect on Christ’s death, let us never forget the amazing sacrifice that was made for us – Sunday is coming!

Thank you, Jesus!

Serving Him and you,

Mark Sheldrake, National Director
