God continues to bless Precept Ministries in many different ways and we are thankful for all that He continues to do in Canada.

Over the last year, we have seen an increase in the number of studies being distributed across the country with most of these orders being single books due to the Covid-19 pandemic. These single book orders can be expensive to ship due to the fees charged by Canada Post.  Precept does not benefit financially from the prices you see on our E-Store.

The ministry continues to evaluate our distribution processes and we are fully aware that the cost of shipping through Canada Post is constantly increasing and we carry the burden of seeing a study like Jonah PUP which cost $4.50 ($2.25/lesson) and the shipping cost being 50%-75% more than the book cost.

As the ministry evaluates the price increase we know that the cost of shipping does deter some from getting into Bible Study.  Our mission is to engage people in knowing God through His Word and we do not want to see shipping fees stop Canadians from studying God’s Word with Precept.

Last week our Board of Directors met to discuss the shipping costs as well as the feedback from you.  Our Board of Directors has determined that we will allocate funds from our 2020 surplus to subsidize shipping costs from April 1, 2021 to July 31, 2021.  During this period we are going to discount the cost of expedited shipping by 50%!  This discount will be applied automatically at the checkout.

We are thankful that the Lord continues to provide for the ministry in ways we could never imagine. As we work through this trial process I would ask that you continue to pray for Precept Ministries in Canada as well as consider adding a donation to your order as you work through the checkout process. It is my hope that this shipping subsidy would continue beyond December 31, 2021, and we would continue to resource Canadians with the vital Bible studies we offer.
